EDSC is committed to providing a safe environment for all members, volunteers, visitors, and participants.

1. Responsibilities

The organisation will:

  • Assess risks for activities and events
  • Provide safe event environments
  • Ensure emergency procedures are in place
  • Encourage safe participation

Participants must:

  • Follow safety instructions
  • Report hazards or incidents
  • Behave responsibly

2. Risk Assessments

Risk assessments will be carried out for sporting activities, community events, and public gatherings.

3. First Aid

Where appropriate, first aid arrangements will be available during events.

4. Accidents and Incidents

Accidents and incidents should be reported immediately to organisers.

5. Equipment

Equipment used during activities should be checked and used safely.

6. Fire Safety

Emergency exits and fire procedures must be followed during indoor events.
